What we were up to this Winter season

It was a busy winter season at Cozy Home Labs, and we wanted to share a quick update on what we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

First and foremost: thank you. We’ve been soaking in your feedback — the good, the bad, and the incredibly helpful. Your customer insights create a learning loop that is exactly what helps us build something better with every update.

This winter, we were proud to help customers across the country stay warm and cozy. Our smart vent system didn’t just hold up — it delivered, helping homes feel more balanced and comfortable without cranking up the thermostat. And as we move into the warmer months, we’re excited to say: it works just as well for cooling. Smart airflow isn’t just a winter thing — it’s year-round comfort.

Behind the camera, we’ve also been working on something new: our first ad shoot. But we’re doing it a little differently. Most smart vent companies gloss over the product — you barely see what’s actually being installed and they have boring 2-D renders of their product. We're flipping that. We're keeping things honest, real, and visual.

And lastly — yes, we’re still grinding on Matter integration for Home Assistant. Matter is supposed to make everything seamless and interoperable, but the reality? Some home hubs still have quirks in how they interpret the spec. We’re learning those quirks one by one, making steady progress, and ensuring that Cozy Vents will work reliably for real homes, not just test labs.
